Enrollment
As children step through the doors of Unity School, they often look for the nurturing environment similar to what they experience at home. Our primary aim is to fulfill this need for both children and their families. We strive to make Unity School feel like an extension of your family, where your child is cared for with patience and warmth, while also being offered chances to learn and play.
Our goal is to assist each child in establishing a strong foundation for growing into a caring, independent, and capable adult. We aim for every child to learn to respect and care for themselves, others, and their environment.
We fulfill these goals by providing a vibrant natural setting paired with educational opportunities centered on the arts and sciences, with a strong focus on interpersonal and intercultural learning. The environment and daily routine are tailored for hands-on, self-directed learning, which is ideal for young children. Our compassionate staff exemplifies and encourages nonviolent conflict resolution.

What makes our program unique is the individuals involved. We warmly invite your participation and feedback. Unity School operates as a private, nonprofit, tax-exempt institution without any religious connections. Feel free to call us to schedule a tour; we would be delighted to introduce you and your child to our school and share details about our program.
If you decide to enroll your child and there is an opening, the next step is to complete the required forms and the financial contract.
If there isn't an opening, you can submit a waiting list application with a nonrefundable fee of $40.
We recommend spending some time with your child at school on their first day at Unity.
We have limited space available in all age groups. Please call for further information.
Admissions Policy
It is our policy to provide equal opportunity for families and children to participate in the school’s programs and to assure that there is no discrimination against any family or child on the grounds of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, belief, age, or sex.
We will serve children with special needs as long as we can meet their needs, which is determined on a case-by-case basis. In instances where we cannot adequately meet the child’s needs, we will refer the family to other resources to assist them in obtaining a suitable placement.
